Release Notes
User-visible changes in the supplied CalmUI release candidates.
These notes describe released candidates. Changes made locally after a release are not installed until a new build is supplied.
0.1.0-rc.26
- Use
$loc('key', 'default')in text props, attributes, and interpolations. - Browse declarations and edit keys/defaults in Languages, with source references
and migration previews for legacy
ui:locdeclarations. - Check Unreal translations by culture without changing the Editor/game language.
- Use shared Core text ellipsis and viewport resizing fixes in both previews.
- Pan Preview with the right mouse button and zoom around the mouse pointer.
- Includes revised Studio, Store, and Blueprint workflow documentation.
- New localization declarations require
.cuipack1.10 and the matching runtime; old packages remain readable. See migration guidance.
0.1.0-rc.25
- Type
/in source to insert project actions, Store reads, or asset names. - Size built-in icons through CSS and use optional button variants.
- Edit UI tests as a sequence of blocks and inspect screen-size findings.
- Import project assets and customize editor settings.
- Includes fixes for selectors, flex spacing, clipping, transitions, malformed project data, SVG import, and repeated test runs.
0.1.0-rc.24
- Preview loads matching code and WebAssembly files, avoiding failures caused by mixing cached files from different builds.
- Unsupported component CSS is reported before replacing the working Preview.
- Decorative elements no longer add unwanted space before the first flex item.
0.1.0-rc.20
The code editor works offline with its required files bundled inside Studio. The compiler also runs from an app-cache copy so its files do not block updates.
0.1.0-rc.19 through 0.1.0-rc.16
These candidates improve Windows installation, upgrade, shutdown, and compiler cleanup. Setup can replace application files even after a leftover compiler process from a previous session.
0.1.0-rc.15
Adds built-in Lucide icons, an icon browser, and drag-and-drop insertion. Studio and the CLI include the authoring tools needed for scripts and data definitions.
0.1.0-rc.10 and 0.1.0-rc.9
Adds project-owned Store fields, actions, preview presets, and Unreal pickers. You can define game data in Studio and read or write it from Blueprint or C++. RC10 includes the matching tools for that workflow in standalone builds.
0.1.0-rc.8 through 0.1.0-rc.6
These candidates improve Explorer organization, component preview data, Inspector source information, preview navigation, and transformed button content.
See Update CalmUI before replacing an installation. Detailed engineering changes remain in the repository changelog.
