Shipping Builds

What CalmUI includes in a final game build.

A final game build contains only the prepared UI packages, the required Unreal assets, and the CalmUI runtime used to display them.

It does not include Studio, editable component source, development connections, or debugging tools.

Before creating a Shipping build:

  1. Save and validate every package in Studio.
  2. Resolve all errors in Problems.
  3. Wait for every connected package asset to show the latest saved version.
  4. Confirm that all images, fonts, String Tables, and packaged cultures are available in Unreal.
  5. Create the Shipping package from Unreal.
  6. Open the packaged executable and check every important screen yourself.

For each important path, verify the first frame, Store data, action result, mouse and controller focus, modal blocking, localization, host assets, closing behavior, and performance. A Studio Preview, UI test, successful cook, or Editor Play session is useful evidence, but none of them alone proves the Shipping game.

If Unreal reports that a CalmUI package is stale, return to Studio, save the affected package, and package the game again.
